Ram Pothineni and Sanjay Dutt Pan-India Actioner “Double iSMART” – Hindi Trailer Released

Get ready for a high-octane Independence Day treat! The Hindi trailer for the much-awaited Telugu film “Double iSMART” starring Ram Pothineni and Sanjay Dutt was unveiled at a grand event in Vizag on Sunday.

The film, directed by Puri Jagannadh, is the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster “iSmart Shankar.” The trailer promises a thrilling ride packed with action sequences, sharp dialogues, and a healthy dose of masala entertainment.

“Double iSMART” sees Pothineni reprise his role as the titular character, Smart Shankar. This time around, he faces off against Sanjay Dutt’s menacing Big Bull. The trailer hints at a high-stakes battle between the two, with glimpses of action sequences and dramatic confrontations.

Produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur, “Double iSMART” aims to be a pan-India crowd-pleaser. The film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages on August 15th, 2024, coinciding with India’s Independence Day.

Double ISMART Teaser: Fans of the 2019 action-thriller iSmart Shankar can rejoice! The highly anticipated spiritual sequel, Double iSmart, has unveiled its official Hindi teaser, promising a thrilling ride packed with high-octane action sequences and a powerful new adversary.

Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the 86-second teaser introduces us once again to Ram Pothineni‘s character, Ustaad “iSmart” Shankar. The opening glimpses hint at Shankar’s return to his usual carefree and mischievous ways. However, this time around, the stakes are seemingly higher. Jagannadh throws a formidable opponent at Shankar – the fearless and imposing Big Bull, played by Bollywood veteran Sanjay Dutt.

The action sequences showcased in the teaser are a clear indication that Double iSmart is aiming to be bigger and grander than its predecessor. What starts as smaller-scale skirmishes quickly escalate into massive action spectacles, leaving viewers eager to see the full potential unleashed in the film.

Joining Pothineni and Dutt on screen are Kavya Thapar, Bani J, Ali, Getup Sreenu, Sayaji Shinde, Makrand Deshpande, and Temper Vamsi. The film is produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under the Puri Connects banner.

Double iSmart is slated for release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages. While the original iSmart Shankar received mixed reviews, it emerged as a commercial success. It remains to be seen if Double iSmart can deliver on the promise of a more refined story alongside the action-heavy spectacle.

A first look from ‘Double iSmart’ has been shared on Sanjay Dutt’s official Twitter account. Sanjay Dutt may be seen posing side in the poster while smoking a cigar and wearing a black suit and boot. As soon as Sanjay’s first image from the movie surfaced, it quickly went viral.

A famous South filmmaker, Puri Jagannath, is directing this film. In this film, Ram Pothineni plays the lead role. A release date of March 8, 2024, has been set for the film. It will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam.
