Industrialist Ratan Tata honored with Udyog Ratna award at his residence

The Maharashtra government announced that Ratan Tata, chief executive of the Tata group, will be the recipient of the state’s first “Udyog Ratna Award”. As a result, Ratan Tata received the award today at his residence in Colaba.

The award was given out by state chief minister Eknath Shinde and deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis. Ajit Pawar, the deputy chief minister, and Uday Samant, the minister of industries, were also there. They’ve all arrived at Tata’s house to present the honor.

The Maharashtra government launched the Udyog Ratna Award this year, which is modeled after the Maharashtra Bhushan Award in the nation’s industrial sector. Ratan Tata, the renowned industrialist, and surveyor of the Tata group, received the first award.

Although the award ceremony is supposed to take place at Bandra-Kurla Complex tomorrow, the state government has decided to honor Ratan Tata at his residence due to his age and health. He received the honor today, and the major event will take place in Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex tomorrow.

Ratan Tata received Australia’s highest civilian honor, the “Order of Australia,” in April of this year. In addition, he has won numerous more domestic and international honors.
