Mr. Neeraj Kumar stated that these conditions will not apply to the locals of Lahaul and Pangi.

The weather may be mild and rainy in Shimla, Kinnaur, Lahaul-Spiti, Chamba, Kullu, and the surrounding areas. It is possible for rain and snow to fall from 26 to 28 December in many areas of the state.

Rain and snow will intensify on the 25th and 26th of December. During this time, there is a possibility of heavy rain and snowfall in and around Shimla, Kinnaur, Lahaul Spiti, Kullu, Sirmaur, Chamba, Kangra, Mandi, Bilaspur, and Solan.

Himachal Pradesh recorded 73.7 percent heavy rainfall from October 1 to December 22, according to the Meteorological Department. The districts received more rain than usual during this period.
