A billiards and snooker player from India, Pankaj Arjan Advani is one of the most successful players today. An Indian snooker player, Pankaj Advani, retained the Asian title by winning 6-3 against former champion Amir Sarkhosh of Iran on Thursday.

In 2019, Pankaj Advani won the event before the 2020 edition was dropped due to a pandemic, won 72(55)-42, 72(50)-0, 70-49, 41-66, 70-17, 30-68, 34-74, 50-12, 64(63)-44.

Pankaj Advani has won 13 Asian titles across both snooker and billiards, including two gold medals in the 2006 and 2010 Asian Games.

“I’m glad to defend this title and continue where I left off before the onset of the pandemic. “This gap only fueled the drive and hunger to compete on return,” said Advani.

Advani will compete after a short break in the IBSF 6-Red Snooker World Cup starting Friday.
