Prince Harry and his wife Meghan were featured in Time magazine’s annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world on Wednesday. In addition to Billie Eilish and Britney Spears, Olympic gymnast Simone Biles is on the list.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who moved from Britain to California last year, appear on one of seven covers highlighting the award winners around the world. The photo shows the couple, titled the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, dressed casually against a background of trees.
Edward Felsenthal, Time’s editor in chief, said the 100 list features “extraordinary leaders working to build a better future” who “have jumped into a year of crisis”.
54 women are listed as unranked on the list of 100. Also included were former U.S. President Donald Trump, U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris, and current U.S. President Joe Biden.
As part of their independent life, Harry and Meghan launched their Archewell Foundation and signed lucrative deals to produce television shows and podcasts after leaving Britain in 2020.
