There was a significant mishap in Jammu & Kashmir. According to reports, a Pakal Dul Project cruiser vehicle accident in Kishtwar involved at least 10 passengers.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the chief minister, and Narottam Mishra, the home minister, are among the ministers who have expressed their sorrow over the accident. During the Khalghat incident, Home Minister Narottam Mishra stated that there were 40 passengers in the vehicle. The number of fatalities has risen to 12. Rescue efforts are ongoing following the tragedy. The SDRF team is assisting with the rescue. The bus was traveling from Pune to Indore. The Agra-Mumbai highway is where the collision took place.
