LPG Price Hike:Commercial LPG cylinder prices have increased by Rs 21 across the country as of Friday, according to the Oil Marketing Companies.
As of right present, Delhi charges Rs 1,796.50 for a 19-kilogram LPG cylinder, whereas Kolkata charges Rs 1,908. A 19-kilogram LPG cylinder costs 1,749 and 1,968 rupees in Mumbai and Chennai, respectively.
The cost of domestic LPG, which is used in homes for cooking, has not changed despite the increase in the price of commercial LPG cylinders.

Commercial LPG Prices Cut:LPG gas cylinders have been reduced in price this week by the central government, and now commercial gas cylinders have been reduced as well.
The price of a 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder has been decreased by Rs 158 by public sector oil marketing companies (OMCs) on Friday. Indian Oil’s website states that as of today, September 1, 2023, the new price is in effect.
In New Delhi, a 19-kilogram commercial LPG gas cylinder will cost Rs. 1522.5. It was formerly being sold for Rs. 1,680.50. In Mumbai and Chennai, LPG gas cylinders will cost respectively Rs 1,504.5 and Rs 1,695.
As a Rakshabandhan gift to the women of the country, the central government reduced the price of domestic LPG gas cylinders by Rs 200 on August 30.

In response to a surge in international fuel prices, the price of cooking gas LPG was increased by Rs 15 per cylinder on Wednesday. Various LPG prices, including subsidised and non-subsidised ones, have been raised, officials said. Delhi and Mumbai now charge Rs 899.50 per cylinder for cooking gas.
Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation, and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation – all state-run companies – have announced they will implement the new prices on October 6.
The price of 14.2 kg LPG cylinders has been raised by Rs 205.50 so far in 2021. A 25-rupee hike was last implemented on LPG cylinders on September 1.
At USD 82.53 per barrel, global benchmark Brent is higher than West Texas Intermediate, which has risen to USD 78.87. With effect from October 2, the PNG prices of Indraprastha Gas Limited have also increased.
