Prithviraj Sukumaran, fresh off the massive success of his Malayalam blockbuster ‘L2: Empuraan’, also shared his excitement for the project, revealing that he was thoroughly absorbed by his character and the film’s layered narrative, which he believes will connect with a wide audience.  

The screenplay of ‘Daayra’ is a collaborative effort, co-written by Meghna Gulzar alongside Yash Keswani and Sima Agarwal.
