Big relief from gas cylinder prices, Commercial LPG cylinder prices cut by Rs 83.50

Commercial LPG Cylinder Price: This month, there has been a significant decrease in the cost of gas cylinders. This relief has been provided to small business owners and hoteliers rather than to the general public. Actually, this month, commercial LPG Cylinder rates were reduced by Rs 83.50 by government petroleum firms.

This deduction has only been applied for commercial 19-kilogram cylinders. Beginning on June 1, the revised tariffs for 19 kg commercial cylinders are in effect. In Delhi, the price of the industrial cylinder has decreased by Rs 83.5, to Rs 1773.

For the last 10 days, the continuous rise in the price of petrol-diesel has been troubling the common man, and now another blow to his wallet has been dealt by the increase in the price of LPG gas cylinders.

On 1st April, which is today, the prices of LPG gas cylinders went up. LPG cylinder prices were also raised on 1st March 2022. The government raised the price of LPG gas cylinders by Rs 105 last time. As a result of the pricing increase of commercial cylinders, confectioners and restaurant owners will have to make significant adjustments to their budgets.

Price hikes in four metro areas

The price of 19 KG commercial gas cylinders has gone up by Rs.250. The price of the blue color cylinder in Delhi has increased to Rs 2,253. With the increase of Rs 250, LPG cylinders in Kolkata will now be sold for Rs 2,351. The new price for LPG gas cylinders in the financial capital of Mumbai is Rs 2,205. Price increases for LPG cylinders in Chennai have contributed the most to the rise. LPG gas cylinders cost Rs 2,406 in this case.

Price rises started from the month of March, LPG gas cylinder prices increased

The general public is being hit by inflation as soon as March begins. LPG gas cylinders are now very expensive. The price of a commercial 19 kg LPG cylinder has increased by 105 rupees in Delhi. Prices will increase as of today. Kolkata has also seen an increase of Rs 108.

As a result of this increase, its price has now increased to Rs 2,012 in Delhi. Besides this, the price of 5kg cylinder Chhotu is also seen increasing. Chhotu cylinders have been increased by 27 rupees in Delhi, with the price now going up to Rs 569. The price of LPG cylinders for domestic use has not changed.

The cost of LPG Gas Cylinders increases

The price of LPG cylinders is revised every month by oil marketing companies. The price of a commercial 19 kg LPG cylinder on February 1 was lowered by Rs 91.50. As a result, its price has increased from Rs 1907 to Rs 2012 in Delhi following the increase. Furthermore, its price in Kolkata has increased from Rs 1987 to Rs 2095. Currently, it costs 1963 rupees in Mumbai, earlier it was 1857 rupees.

LPG cylinders are still the same price throughout the country. As of October 6, 2021, domestic LPG cylinders have never been cheaper nor more expensive, while crude oil has surpassed $100 per barrel in this same period.

There has also been a rumor that the price of LPG cylinders could also drastically rise after the current assembly elections 2022.

LPG cylinder price hiked: Domestic LPG more expensive by Rs 15

In response to a surge in international fuel prices, the price of cooking gas LPG was increased by Rs 15 per cylinder on Wednesday. Various LPG prices, including subsidised and non-subsidised ones, have been raised, officials said. Delhi and Mumbai now charge Rs 899.50 per cylinder for cooking gas.

Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation, and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation – all state-run companies – have announced they will implement the new prices on October 6.

The price of 14.2 kg LPG cylinders has been raised by Rs 205.50 so far in 2021. A 25-rupee hike was last implemented on LPG cylinders on September 1.

At USD 82.53 per barrel, global benchmark Brent is higher than West Texas Intermediate, which has risen to USD 78.87. With effect from October 2, the PNG prices of Indraprastha Gas Limited have also increased.
