The project was delayed as a result of the production process taking longer than expected because of the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.

The poster reads “On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, announcing the release date of the movie – 12th January 2023.” As South Superstar also wrote in the caption, “Adipurush will release in 3D cinemas across the globe on 12th January 2023.”
