Taj Mahal put on corona alert, no entry inside without covid testing

This ancient monument, built in a unique style of Persian, Indian, and Islamic architecture, is said to be a testament to love. The controversy over the Taj Mahal began with the publication of the book ‘True Story of Taj’ by historian PN Oak. A lot of claims were made in this book regarding the Taj Mahal being a Shiva temple. A few historians claim the Taj Mahal has 22 rooms under the main mausoleum and the jasmine floors that have been closed.

It is believed that there are stairs up and down the jasmine floor to lead into the basement towards the Yamuna’s edge. An iron net has been placed over these to close them. Until about 45 years ago, access to the stairs was open. This petition has been filed to open the 22 rooms.

South Delhi Municipal Corporation opened the amusement park built on the ‘Waste to Property’ model a few years ago. Delhi’s civic elections will be held early next year, therefore the park’s inauguration is taking place at a time of civic election.

The eight-acre park includes Taj Mahal, Charminar, Qutub Minar, Gateway of India, Nalanda Ruins, Mysore Palace, Konark Temple, Meenakshi Temple, Hampi, Victoria Memorial Hall, Sanchi Stupa, Gol Gumbaz, Ajanta, and Ellora Replicas of many monuments, including caves and the Hawa Mahal, can be found here. An SDMC official said, Amit Shah, Union Home Minister, will inaugurate the garden on Saturday evening after it has been filled with 22 replicas. A tree and replicas of 21 monuments are among them.

The mayor of South Delhi said this

It was originally planned that the park would open by the end of October. Originally, Amritsar’s Golden Temple was also planned to be included in the project. In the park opening today, there is no replica of the Golden Temple, said Mayor Mukesh Suryan of South Delhi. Sikh shrine replicas were removed from a park in South Delhi’s Punjabi Bagh area in June following a controversy.

As the then Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (DSGMC) president Manjinder Singh Sirsa told the media in late June, the replica of the temple in the park was removed because it was against “Sikh dignity”. As well as tweeting about it, he posted pictures of the venue. A later statement from Suryan, however, clarified that the replica had only been ‘removed’ from the park. There are artworks throughout the park exhibiting the utmost respect for our cultural heritage and monuments. The park’s theme is “Unity and Diversity.” It is estimated that about 16 crores have been spent on this project.

Various materials were used to construct the replicas, including old cars, fans, iron rods, nuts, and bolts.
