Google Business Profile Integrated with Local Services Ads

Google has recently completed the integration of Google Business Profile (GBP) with Local Services Ads (LSA). Advertisers using LSAs have been notified that their GBP accounts are now linked to their LSA accounts.

This integration means that all new customer reviews for Local Services Ads will be managed through Google Business Profile. Existing customer reviews will also be managed through the Google Business Profile starting in early 2025.

This change is intended to simplify business management on Google’s platform. It also enhances security by ensuring that only authorized individuals can manage ads, calls, and messages. A public, affiliated Google Business Profile is now required to run Local Services Ads.
