Godhra Teaser: The much-awaited film exploring the Godhra incident, “Accident or Conspiracy: Godhra,” has finally been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The film, starring Ranvir Shorey, Manoj Joshi, and Hitu Kanodia, will hit theaters on July 12, 2024.
Directed by MK Shivaaksh and produced by BJ Purohit, the film has been in the news for its sensitive subject matter. The tweet announcing the release date also reveals that the legendary actor Sharad Kelkar has lent his voice to the film’s teaser.
“Accident or Conspiracy: Godhra” had previously faced delays due to the censor board’s scrutiny. The film reportedly delves into the findings of the Nanavati Commission, which investigated the 2002 Godhra train burning incident and the subsequent riots.
