ED issues 8th summons to Arvind Kejriwal in liquor scam case, called for questioning on March 4

Delhi: CM Arvind Kejriwal has been called by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) once more about the purported liquor scam in Delhi. This is the eighth summons that the Delhi Chief Minister has received from the investigating agency. Earlier, Arvind Kejriwal persisted in his claim that the seven ED summonses were unlawful.

Tuesday saw Arvind Kejriwal receive another summons from the ED on the liquor policy (Delhi Excise Policy), and they scheduled a meeting for March 4th to question him.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal reportedly stated that the ED summons is a tactic used to exert pressure on INDIA to withdraw, according to news agency PTI. He will appear before the investigating agency at the court’s request.

The special thing is that on Monday, February 26, the Delhi Chief Minister did not appear before the ED. In response to ED’s summons, AAP stated that although ED is sending the summons, the case is still pending and the next hearing is scheduled on March 16. AAP stated that ED should wait for the court’s ruling rather than delivering summonses daily.

Tragic accident in Kasganj, tractor trolley of devotees going to bathe in Ganga overturned in the pond, 15 died

The catastrophe has resulted in the confirmation of 15 deaths. In addition, twelve injured people have been admitted to District Hospital and Community Health Center.

Over twenty villagers from Kasganj East village in the Jaithra police station area of Etah had taken a tractor ride early in the morning to bathe at Kasganj Ganga Ghat. The news states that the tractor’s coupling unexpectedly broke on the highway close to Daryabganj at approximately eleven in the morning. The tractor and trolley lost control as a result, falling into the pond. There was shouting after this.

The cops were notified by People who were crossing the roadway. The cops began removing people from the pond with assistance from the townspeople. When residents of Kassa East hamlet learned about the disaster, they arrived and found the pond’s banks in a state of turmoil. The crowd also hampered traffic on the highways. According to CO Patiali Vijay Rana, relief efforts are ongoing. The district hospital is treating a sizable patient population. The deceased’s identity is being worked on.

ISRO successfully places INSAT-3DS weather satellite in geosynchronous orbit, expected to reach IOT location on February 28

The weather satellite has already entered its intended geosynchronous orbit, according to an announcement made by ISRO on a series of scheduled Liquid Apogee Motor (LAM) firings on board the INSAT-3DS spacecraft. On February 28, 2024, the spacecraft is anticipated to arrive at the In Orbit Testing (IOT) location.

Before the spacecraft can start operating, commissioning tasks include turning on the sensors and instruments, assessing how well they work in microgravity conditions, and calibrating the observations.

The Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), which has completely supported the program, expects that the upgraded weather satellite INSAT-3DS will improve forecasts throughout its departments.

Following launch, the ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) carried out a sequence of maneuvers in which the satellite’s laser was fired.

ED’s seventh summons to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, called for questioning on February 26

According to sources, Kejriwal has been summoned to appear on February 26 before the financial probe agency.

ED issues look out notice against founder and CEO of Byju Raveendran
