1.) Install WAMR on your phone by going to the Play Store and getting other similar apps are there.
2.) Once the app is installed, open it and read the disclaimer. Tap on the Next arrow.

9.) Many smartphones have aggressive RAM management, which kills WAMR processes that run in the background. For this to not happen, make sure that the app is running in the background.
If you receive a message on your phone, the WAMR app stores the content of the message. Even if someone deletes a message, its contents are already stored in WAMR and accessible via the notification, so even if that message is deleted, you will still have access to it.
There are limitations to this workaround since it is a workaround. Messages deleted by the recipient will not be recoverable since notifications for muted contacts are disabled. When you disable media auto-download on WhatsApp, WAMR will not be able to save deleted media files. If you were not online when the message was sent, you will not receive a notification of them being deleted.
