September 9 is the release date for the film. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna will be seen in Brahmastra. There will be a voiceover by Megastar Chiranjeevi in the Telugu version of the film. Reports indicate Shah Rukh Khan will appear in the film in a special role.
