The Teen Murti Bhawan in Delhi, which had been known to many as the Nehru Memorial Museum, is now known as the Prime Minister’s Museum. Today, PM Modi will inaugurate the newly built museum. This museum showcases the life philosophy of all the Prime Ministers of the country, from the country’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru to the current Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This museum cost about Rs 271 crore. The project was approved in 2018 and completed within four years. About ten thousand square meters of the Nehru Museum plot are devoted to the museum. The Prime Minister’s Museum also houses the Constitution of India. The museum will give a glimpse of India’s post-independence history through the lives and contributions of its Prime Ministers.
