The government will decide its fare after thinking carefully. A proposal is being made to make bullet train fares AC first class only. He said the bullet train would cost less than the flight and the facilities would be better. The price of the bullet train will be adjusted after the construction is completed.
Bullet train will run in 2026
The Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet train project is the dream project of the government, says Ashwini Vaishnav. Ahmedabad and Mumbai will be connected by India’s first bullet train in 2026. In Gujarat, the first bullet train will be run between Surat and Bilimora on time, after the project’s work is progressing rapidly.
Features of bullet train
In Gujarat and Mumbai, 520 kilometers will be covered by a bullet train. The bullet train will reach Mumbai at 320 kmph, passing through 12 stations along the way. With the bullet train, distances that currently take six hours to cover will be covered in three hours. This project will cost about Rs 1.1 lakh crore.

Bullet trains are being built in India with the help of Japan through the Japan International Cooperation Agency, which will bear 80 percent of the costs. Currently, work is being done on a distance of 150 km within its first phase. The work is proceeding as planned.
