Bollywood Dabangg star Salman Khan and rising star Rashmika Mandanna have begun filming for their highly-anticipated movie “Sikandar.” A.R. Murugadoss at the helm of direction and Sajid Nadiadwala producing.
The news comes after weeks of buzzing anticipation surrounding the film. “Sikandar” is slated for an Eid 2025 release.
Details about the plot are still under wraps, but reports suggest the movie will be heavy on action sequences, a genre Khan is known to dominate. Fans are particularly excited to see the on-screen chemistry between the established superstar and the fast-rising Mandanna.
Filming commenced on June 18th, 2024, in Mumbai, with reports hinting at a large-scale air-action sequence being filmed during this initial schedule.
