Odisha reports first hospitalization of Covid19 patient in 2023

After a long time, Odisha has reported a Covid-related hospitalization in VIMSAR Burla, where the patient is critical.

In Burla of Sambalpur district, Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences And Research (VIMSAR) has admitted its first Covid patient of 2023.

In the last 95 days, the rate has been below 3 percent, according to the ministry.

Over one crore vaccine doses have been administered during the nationwide Covid-19 vaccination drive, exceeding the 87 crore doses that have been administered so far.
