Avatar 3 Updates: At the worldwide box office, Avatar: The Way of Water brought in more than USD 657 million. James Cameron, the director, has declared that he and Kate Winslet are collaborating on Avatar 3.

Over USD five billion has been made by the franchise thus far. Deadline has reported on this. Post-production work on the film is proceeding at a “hectic pace” in preparation for its December 2025 release in theaters. Ronal, the aquatic kingdom’s queen, is the persona she will take back. She is Cliff Curtis’s wife, Tonowari’s character.

The actress from Titanic played a minor part in the movie, but she will be more important in Avatar 3.

James Cameron stated, “The big [creative] advance in this movie is just going to be greater character depth,” in an interview with GQ Today regarding Ronal. There will be a plethora of new species and cultures in Avatar 3, along with very human personalities among the characters. The greatest water [VFX] ever created is what the director promises. He was cited as stating, “This is a long-term journey.” It will continue into the third, fourth, and fifth movies. The entire thing follows an epic cycle.”

As he unveiled the Kannada teaser, Oscar-winning producer Jon Landau, who has worked with director James Cameron on some of the most acclaimed and famous movies in world cinema history, posted a moving statement on social media.

He tweeted: “Thank you, India! I see you. Your variety never ceases to astound me. I can’t wait for you to see #AvatarTheWayOfWater in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, among the other six languages. On December 16, let’s celebrate Pandora’s comeback. It’s interesting to note that throughout Thursday, the hashtag #Avatar2inKannada was trending on Twitter as fans voiced their disappointment over the movie’s seeming lack of a Kannada release. If accurate, many fans noted that this decision did not make sense given the success of Kannada-dubbed versions of recent Hollywood and Indian films in the region.

The James Cameron movie is the follow-up to the 2009 box office sensation Avatar, which has earned more money than any other movie ever. On December 16, the franchise’s second part will be available worldwide.
