Amit Shah to inaugurate Durga Puja pandal inspired by Ram Temple in Kolkata on October 16

With the arrival of Navratri, Durga Puja will also begin on 15th October. Bengal’s Durga Puja is well-known across the world, and each year, visitors from all over the nation and the globe gather to view the exquisite themes used in decorating their pandals.

The elaborate Ram Temple was the inspiration for the Durga Puja pandals in Kolkata. On Monday, Home Minister Amit Shah will open the pandal with a Ram Temple motif. The Santosh Mitra Square Puja Committee organizers have completed all of their preparations. The pandals for Durga Puja have also been decked with World Cup-inspired decor.

The Durga pandal was decorated with a Chandrayaan-3 theme this year to honor the ISRO scientists. In addition to this, it will feature pandals like the Disneyland of Paris, the Palace of Mysore, the renowned Somnath Temple of Gujarat, the Museum of Jodhpur, and even the Ganga Ghat of Banaras.

On Navratri festival, Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation decided that meat shops will remain closed for nine days

Since the Navratri festival started, Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation has decided to prohibit the sale of raw meat in the city from April 2 to April 10. The Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation’s Municipal Health Officer issued an order to close meat shops for 9 days during Navratri.

In the letter, it was stated that the Navratri festival would be held from April 2 to April 10. Consequently, the cleanliness of every temple should also be ensured along with the cleaning of the urban areas. For this period, the Mayor’s office has sent an order to all meat shops in the city ordering them to close for 9 days during Navratri.

Everyone has been directed to make sure that while taking care of the Navratri, there is cleanliness in all the temples in the city, along with cleanliness in their allotted areas, according to the letter. For the next nine days, you should also close all the meat shops in the city. The letter was also sent to the Mayor, Municipal Commissioner, and Additional Municipal Commissioner/Senior in Incharge of Health.

Bigg Boss 15 Update: Salman Khan and Contestants Celebrate Navratri

A few controversies and major fights have already taken place in the first week of Bigg Boss 15. Salman Khan hosted the Weekend Ka Vaar on Sunday. Singer Yohani began the celebration with a performance of her viral song ‘Manike Mage Hithe‘. Salman also sang O Oh Jaane Jaana with her. As part of the unique panel, Arjun Bijlani, Karan Patel as well as Neha Bhasin from Bigg Boss OTT, and Bigg Boss 14 contestant Nikki Tamboli participated. The contestants also heard several songs by Bhumi Trivedi, Dhvani Bhanushali, and Meet Bros.
