Nokia launches 2 new phones in India, price starts from Rs 1849 with strong battery backup

In India, Nokia introduced the Nokia 150 2G and Nokia 130 Music, two feature phones. Whereas the Nokia 130 Music comes with an MP3 player and loudspeaker. The Nokia 150 feature phone, in contrast, features a 1450mAh battery and a splash-proof design.

Both phones have reliable batteries that can last up to 35 days in standby mode on a single charge.

The Nokia 130 Music phone has a 2.4-inch QVGA display with a 240×320-pixel resolution. There are three color options for this phone: Dark Blue, Purple, and Light Gold. The dark Blue color version costs Rs 1849, while Purple and Light Gold color variants cost Rs 1949. MicroSD cards with a 32GB capacity can be installed.

The Nokia 150 2G costs Rs. 2,699. There are three color options for this phone: Charcoal, Cyan, and Red. The navigation key area on this feature phone is made of metallic material. This device features a flash and VGA back. This phone has a 2.4-inch QVGA screen.

Nokia announces partnership with Lightstorm, a digital infrastructure provider in India

Nokia stated on Wednesday that it had teamed up with Lightstorm, a cutting-edge supplier of carrier-neutral digital infrastructure, to modernize digital infrastructure and expand its network in India’s Eastern and Northern regions.

Large areas of India are being covered by Lightstorm as its coverage moves east and north. The enhanced network uses Nokia’s fifth-generation coherent optic chipset (PSE-V) and 1830 Photonic Service Switch (PSS) optical transport platform to increase total capacity to several terabytes.
