NEET UG counselling postponed till further notice amid paper leak controversy

Controversies have surrounded the NEET exam since its inception. Following many toppers and grace marks, the Supreme Court has heard this case. On June 23, NTA carried out its reexamination.

NEET-UG counseling was scheduled to begin today, July 6. However, the counseling has been put off for now. The new date will now be revealed shortly. The start of counseling has been delayed till further notice. But up until now, July 6th was supposed to be the date of counseling.

Since the release of the NEET exam results by NTA, there has been an ongoing dispute. Following the distribution of grace marks to 1563 pupils, the issue of cheating began to surface. On June 23, the Supreme Court reexamined the case. Only 813 pupils out of 1563 had taken the test twice. Students who passed the reexamination should receive counseling. However, today’s scheduled counseling session has been rescheduled.

CM Yogi is going to bring a new ordinance in the paper leak case, provision of life imprisonment and a fine of up to Rs 1 crore

The Uttar Pradesh government, led by CM Yogi Adityanath, plans to introduce the Uttar Pradesh Public Examination Ordinance 2024 in response to the leak of exam papers for the RO-ARO and constable recruitment exams.

The state cabinet has given its approval to this idea. The ordinance stipulates that offenders face life in jail and fines of up to Rs 1 crore.

This proposal was adopted in the cabinet meeting presided over by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with forty-four other suggestions. The solver group will cover the cost of the examination if it is impacted by a paper leak or for other reasons. Additionally, companies and providers of services that engage in irregularities during the inspection will be permanently barred from the list.

CM Yogi’s big action in police recruitment paper leak case, Renuka Mishra removed from the post

UP Police Paper Leak: In UP, CM Yogi Adityanath moved quickly to address the police recruitment paper leak case. Renuka Mishra, the chairperson of the Police Recruitment Board, has been sacked. The newly appointed chairman of the Police Recruitment Board is Rajeev Krishna.

In Uttar Pradesh, more than 48 lakh applicants applied for more than 60,000 policeman positions. Following the paper leak, the exam was canceled. In addition, directives have been issued to repeat the assessment within the subsequent six months.

Additionally, the state administration has declared that the integrity of the exams cannot be compromised. The offenders will face the worst punishment possible.

ED notices to Govind Singh Dotasra’s sons in paper leak case

In the paper leak case, the ED has sent notices to the two sons of Govind Singh Dotasra, the president of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress. Avinash Dotasra and Abhilash have been summoned to Delhi for interrogations on November 7 and 8, respectively.

Notably, the Enforcement Directorate conducted raids in Sikar and Jaipur not too long ago. Remarkably, the ED had summoned the son of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to Delhi in the past to examine him about a previous case. PCC Chief’s sons have also been summoned following Gehlot’s son.

Recently, the ED raided a Sikar coaching institute. There are rumors that a prominent member of Congress owns this coaching center. However, his name is not showing up. The RPS husband of the operator of the coaching institute has had his cell phone confiscated by the ED. He has provided vital information to the ED. Perhaps on the basis of this, ED has called both of PCC Chief Dotasra’s sons. The PCC Chief, however, claims that the ED is carrying out the raids at the BJP‘s request.

ED raids the residence of Rajasthan Congress leader Govind Singh Dotasra, action in paper leak case

ED is conducting raids at multiple locations connected to Congress leader Govind Singh Dotasra, the former minister of education for Rajasthan. Raids on properties connected to Congress MLA Om Prakash Hoodla are also being reported. There are ED raids ongoing in Sikar, Dausa, and Jaipur.

The intelligence indicates that this raid is related to the investigation into money laundering in the matter of the Rajasthan exam paper leak. ED has received covert allegations against these leaders in relation to instances involving money laundering, document leaks, and transfers of funds via Hawala.

Around seven locations in Jaipur, Sikar, and Dausa are under investigation by the ED team and CRPF jawans. For security purposes, soldiers have been stationed outside the home. Evidence and documentation are now being gathered, and once they are, the ED team will look into the matter more and act based on the materials.

Rajasthan police arrest mastermind of teacher recruitment exam paper leak case

Teacher Recruitment Exam Paper Leak Case: Bhupendra Saran, the main suspect in the case involving the question paper leak from the 2nd-grade government teacher recruitment exam, was apprehended in Bengaluru, the Rajasthan Police announced on Friday.

The primary suspect, Bhupendra Saran, was taken to Udaipur after being detained by Rajasthan police yesterday at Bengaluru Airport.

On Thursday night, a squad from the Special Operations Group (SOG) and Rajasthan Police apprehended Saran at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport. According to the police, complaints have been filed against him at two different Udaipur police stations.
