Iyer actually missed the entire series against New Zealand because of a back problem, and the latest reports indicate that he is still not totally healthy. In Iyer’s presence, Suryakumar Yadav will undoubtedly participate in the Test match. In other words, Suryakumar might make his Test debut against Australia in the opening game.
