Data from late last night indicates that there have been 198 cases reported in Maharashtra, and 190 Omicron infections have been verified in Mumbai alone.

Over 7,000 cases have been reported in the last two days
The number of Corona infections in the country is increasing rapidly. There have been 16,746 reported cases in the past 24 hours. Compared to Thursday, there are 3 thousand more cases. The number of infected increased to over 4,000 on Wednesday. The nation has now been infected with 91,361 Corona cases.
Night curfew imposed in Puducherry
In view of the increasing cases of Omicron and Corona in Puducherry, a night curfew has been imposed from 11 pm to 5 pm. There will be no lifting of this restriction until 31 January 2022.
