The creators of Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan today revealed a fresh poster of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to introduce her role, after the pictures for Chiyaan Vikram and Karthi. Taking on the part of the vengeful queen Nandini, the actress will be able to be seen in the movie. She has long hair, captivating eyes, and looks lovely in a saree.

Aishwarya as Nandini was featured in a new poster published on Twitter by the filmmakers. “Vengeance has a beautiful face! Meet Nandini, the Queen of Pazhuvoor! #PS1 releasing in theatres on 30th September in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Ponniyin Selvan marks the return of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan after more than four years away from films. Ponniyin Selvan was described by Aishwarya as Mani Ratnam‘s ideal project in an interview with Film Companion.
The first part of the magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan, PS-1, starring Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sarath Kumar, Vikram Prabhu, Sobhita Dhulipala, Jayaram Prabhu, Parthiban, and Prakash Raj, is set for a global release on September 30.
