Recently, the first Capsule Gill look from Akshay’s upcoming movie appeared online. Actor Akshay Kumar is visible in the opening shot standing in a field in Yorkshire, England. He will play a Sikh character in a movie that draws its inspiration from actual events.

According to the most recent sources, Akshay would portray the lead role in the biopic about mining engineer Jaswant Singh Gill from Amritsar, who saved 65 miners following the collapse of a coal mine in Raniganj, India, in 1989. In 1991, he was also given the Sarvottam Jeevan Raksha Padak by Ramaswamy Venkataraman, the president at the time. The movie’s working title is ‘Capsule Gill’. A formal announcement has not yet been made, though.

Rustom, a 2016 film starring Akshay Kumar and Ileana D’Cruz, was also directed by Tinu Suresh Desai. According to reports, Parineeti Chopra will portray the part of Akshay’s wife in the movie. This is the pair’s second on-screen pairing following their 2019 movie Kesari.

Apart from this, Akshay is getting ready for the premiere of Aanand L. Rai’s Raksha Bandhan. Smrithi Srikanth, Bhumi Pednekar, Sahejmeen Kaur, and Deepika Khanna are also featured. On August 11, 2022, it will be released in theaters. The actor also has the upcoming remake of Soorarai Pottru remake, OMG 2 – Oh My God! 2, Selfiee, and Ram Setu.
