Based on the latest report, within just three days, Superstar Rajnikanth’s Annaattath became the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2021 at the US box office. From the moment of its premiere, the movie has been playing on more than 500 screens in the USA market. In 3 days, it earned more than $600K, making it the best Tamil film of the year.
The film is expected to extend its record-breaking box office run in the US, and it would not surprise me if it became the highest-grossing Tamil film ever at the US box office.
Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Doctor’ and Vijay’s ‘Master’ have been the two highest-grossing Tamil films in the US this year.
As Annaatthe continues to receive a positive response from the audience, it is expected to cross 100 crores in its first weekend as it has surpassed 100 crores after two days.
Sun Pictures is bankrolling the film ‘Annaatthe’, directed by Siruthai Siva, and featuring several popular stars.
