Anti-encroachment drive underway by Jaipur Development Authority in Jaipur

Jaipur Anti-encroachment Action: As per the orders of UDH Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra of Rajasthan, the Jaipur Development Authority began work on Monday, July 15, on clearing both temporary and permanent encroachments from 11 city roads, in Jaipur.

By identifying the temporary, illegal encroachments being made on the borders of the roads, JDA has begun the process of bulldozing. The bulldozing by JDA will occur from Gurjar Ki Thadi to Gopalpura.

Actually, on July 9, Urban Development Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra issued an order to remove illegal encroachments and occupations from the main road and other city roads to facilitate smooth traffic flow, given the continuously growing number of illegal encampments and occupations in Jaipur. Following this, the Jaipur Development Authority unveiled an action plan spanning from July 15 to July 30 that highlights the city’s main thoroughfares.
