Bulldozer action in Delhi is being prepared

Bulldozers have been seen in the news in the past a lot. Again, bulldozers are going to be used in the capital city of Delhi. MCD has prepared the blueprint for bulldozer action against encroachment. This means that on May 9th, a bulldozer will be driven in Shaheen Bagh.

SDMC issued notice

As per the information, the South Delhi Municipal Corporation has issued a notice to remove the encroachment. The SDMC has issued an action plan to remove encroachment in Okhla and Shaheen Bagh. Additionally, there is also a hint that the encroachers must pack up their goods or else the goods will be confiscated.

May 5 – Kalindi Kunj Main Road: Kalindi Kunj Park to Jamia Nagar Police Station
May 6- Srinivaspuri Private Colony to Okhla Railway Station Gandhi Camp
May 9- Shaheen Bagh G Block to Jasola and Jasola Nala to Kalindi Kunj Park
May 10 – In and around Buddh Dharma Mandir and Gurdwara Road from New Friends Colony.
May 11- Lodhi Colony, Meherchand Market. In and around Sai Mandir and then Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium
May 12- Dinsen Marg ISKCON Temple Marg and its surroundings
May 13- Khadda Colony

Demand for additional police force

SDMC has demanded more police force for the bulldozer action against encroachment. In the notice, women police officers are also urged to join. The SDMC has requested cooperation from the administration to avoid untoward incidents. Let us know that the campaign will run until May 13.

Bulldozer action of Delhi’s Jahangirpuri in discussion

It is worth noting that a yatra was held on Hanuman Jayanti in Jahangirpuri, Delhi, on April 16. It was a time of conflict between two communities. The clash resulted in the injury of a number of police officers and civilians. Then, bulldozers were used to remove encroachments in Jahangirpuri.
