Tuesday saw the announcement of the 2022 Emmy nominations, and it was a big night for Euphoria Season 2 as the well-liked HBO series garnered several accolades, including three for its star Zendaya. The program received 16 nominations altogether, including one for Outstanding Drama Series and several for Sydney Sweeney’s acting.

Zendaya made history as the youngest lead acting nominee and producer nominee, respectively, by receiving two nominations. For her work in the HBO drama, the actress received three nominations: Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for Elliot’s Song, and Outstanding Executive Producer.
