On June 21, on the occasion of Yoga Day, a sudden fanatics mob barged into the National Football Stadium in the Maldives at an event organized by the Indian government. A fanatics mob entered the stadium, created a lot of noise, and started vandalising, according to the footage that leaked.

In the video, a chaotic crowd can be seen raising flags and people sitting in meditation being chased out of the stadium. In some other visuals, the food items in the stadium are seen lying upside down. The tables are all over. There is a loud noise coming from behind.

The entire incident is from Galoluh Stadium. Maldivian President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has said on Twitter that the Maldivian Police has started an investigation into the matter. The matter is being taken seriously. He has assured that whoever is responsible for this incident will be punished.

It was told in the related media report that some people doing yoga accused the crowd that had entered the stadium of threatening. He said that the crowd had asked him to vacate the stadium immediately. But later the police handled the situation and brought the situation under control by releasing tear gas.

Let us inform you that this program of yoga and meditation was organized at 6:30 in the stadium by the Indian Cultural Center in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Community Development of India. Many people also participated in it. But it could not be continued due to the disturbance of the crowd. The event was also attended by a number of diplomats, government officials, and Maldivian ministers.
