India completely outscored Australia in the second inning, with 91 runs. India led Australia by 223 runs after the first inning, however, Australia was unable to surpass this enormous total.

In Thursday’s match, Australia won the toss and opted to bat first. However, after only one day of play, the whole Australian squad was eliminated for a total of 177 runs.
Jadeja shines in the first innings
Ravindra Jadeja and R.K. Goes to Ashwin deserve all the credit. Jadeja and Ashwin prevented any Australian batsmen from remaining at the crease throughout the first innings.
While Ashwin grabbed three wickets for 42 runs, Ravindra Jadeja took five for 47 runs. Both Mohammad Shami and Mohammad Siraj took only one wicket each.
However, the Indian batters hit a staggering 400 runs in the first innings, giving them a 223-run advantage over Australia. India’s captain Rohit Sharma scored 120 runs during his century innings. Ravindra Jadeja scored 70 runs, and Akshar Patel played a spectacular inning of 84 runs.
