The Face ID feature will now be available even when a mask is worn by iPhone users. iOS 15.4 beta has been released by Apple specifically for this purpose. Now that iOS 15.4 beta is available, iPhones can now be unlocked even when wearing masks.

Apple has released beta versions of iOS 15.4, iPad OS 15.4, and macOS Monterey 12.3.The most significant update with the new update is Universal Control for iPad and MacBook. The iPhone can now be unlocked even with a mask on thanks to an upgrade to Apple’s facial recognition technology.
How to unlock your iPhone with the mask setting
After the public update, you will need to enable the Use Face ID with a Mask feature by going to the Face ID & Passcode screen in Settings. During setup, there is no need to wear a mask. You need to activate Face ID in the same manner you did with iOS 15.4.
Only the iPhone 12 series and the iPhone 13 series feature Face ID with a mask. Currently, it is not made available to iPad users either.
