The Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma and other members of the playing XI were fined for slow over-rate during an IPL 2022 game against Punjab Kings. In addition to that, Punjab Kings won their match against Mumbai by 12 runs on Wednesday.

Mumbai Indians have been fined after maintaining a slow over-rate during the IPL match against Punjab Kings at the MCA Stadium in Pune on April 13. Getting back to the Mumbai Indians losing streak, here it is their fifth straight defeat after losing to Punjab Kings.
This was the second time in a season that a team had violated the IPL rule regarding minimum over rate. Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma was fined 24 lakh rupees and the rest of the team was fined 6 lakh rupees each or 25 percent of the match fee, whichever was lesser.”
He was fined Rs 12 lakh earlier this week for maintaining a slow over-rate in their match with the Delhi Capitals.
