In India, Harnaaz Sandhu became the new Miss Universe 2021. The title has been won by Harnaaz from Punjab, 21 years after Lara Dutta won it in 2000. At the 70th Miss Universe 2021 held in Elliot, Israel, she represented India. As the winner of the Miss Universe title, Harnaaz defeated South Africa and Paraguay in the final round.

Harnaaz Sandhu Video issued a statement upon winning the title of Miss Universe. In this video, she thanks everyone in India and those who supported him. In her speech, she thanked her parents, the Miss India organization, and the almighty for their guidance and support. I am very grateful to everyone who prayed and wished the Crown for me. I am proud to bring back India’s glorious crown after 21 years.”

Harnaaz Sandhu’s video of her statement has surfaced after she won the Miss Universe title. During this video, Harnaaz is wearing the Miss Universe 2021 Crown. Looks like she’s very happy. As she states in the video, “Hello, Sat Shri Akal, thank you for supporting me and believing in me from day one. The Universe needs to be saved now. Together, let’s save. Thanks a lot and I love you.”
A model resident of Chandigarh, pursuing an MA in Public Administration. During last year’s Miss Universe Mexico contest, Andrea Meza crowned her. The second-place finisher was Paraguay’s Nadia Ferreira, 22, and the third-place finisher was South Africa’s Lalela Mswane, 24. The last question-and-answer session asked Sandhu what advice she would give young women on how to handle the pressures they face today.
How did Harnaaz Sandhu reply?
As a response, Sandhu said, “The biggest pressure the youth faces today is believing in themselves. Discuss more important things happening around the world rather than comparing yourself to others. Speak for yourself, because you are the leader of your life, you are the voice. Because I believed in myself, I am here today.”
