144 citizens of Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia were banned from entering Moscow, Russia on Thursday, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.

According to the ministry’s announcement, the newly blacklisted individuals from the three countries included ministers, parliament members, public figures, and journalists.
The travel ban was put in place by Russia in reaction to “the aggressive lobbying of sanctions and other measures against Russia by the Baltic states, involvement in its internal affairs, and fanning Russophobic sentiments,” according to a statement.
