The parent company of Snapchat, Snap has introduced a new business unit that will provide retailers and companies with its augmented reality (AI) solutions so they can incorporate them into their apps.
The new “Augmented Reality Solutions for Business” (ARES) division will enable businesses to adapt Snap’s AR features for their apps and websites in order to attract customers and create more immersive experiences, reports The Verge.
Through augmented reality shopping solutions, the ARES company intends to help retailers increase sales and reduce return rates.
According to a company blog post, the “My AI” chatbot will be made accessible to Snapchat+ subscribers this week as an experimental feature.
