From Maharashtra to MP, cold wave hasn’t abated yet, this warning of the Meteorological Department

Even in the last week of January, the period of cold winter continues. Icy winds have increased cold winds in Central and West India. As a result of the cold wave, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert. The temperature is freezing from Madhya Pradesh to Maharashtra. There is a cold wave in the night, but there is a chill in the day due to the cold winds. Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh, recorded a temperature of one degree Celsius on Friday.

Wind speeds in the North-West and Central parts of India are expected to be 10-20 kilometers per hour according to the India Meteorological Department. There may be a temperature drop of 2-4 °C as a result. It will continue to be a cold wave in Madhya Pradesh. Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha will also experience a drop in temperature.

The meteorological department reports there is a possibility of cold wave conditions in some isolated areas of Vidarbha, North Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, and Gujarat during the next two days. Over the next 3-4 days, cold waves will continue to affect Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, North Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh.

There is a possibility of rain in these areas

According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain may fall in West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura on 31 January and 1 February. Within the next four days, light rain is predicted in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Kerala.

The third wave can prove to be dangerous! Corona death toll rises by 54 percent in a week

Corona’s third wave in India has produced frightening numbers. Covid19 patients have been on the rise across the country over the last week. In one week, the number of patients has increased six times due to Corona infection, based on figures up to Sunday. In just seven days, there have been 54 percent more deaths. The Omicron variant is believed to be responsible for this wave of the corona.

In India, there were 7.8 lakh Corona cases between January 3 and 9. The number is six times higher than last week. Just 1.3 lakh were registered last week. An increase of 2.8 times of infections was reported earlier between December 27 and January 2. The speed of infection of Korana this time can be gauged by the fact that it took approximately 5 weeks to reach 1.3 lakh to 7.8 lakh cases during the second wave. Within one week, all records were shattered.

Record number of cases increasing

Corona cases in Maharashtra

In Maharashtra, there were 2,20,176 cases of Corona this week. It is the highest number of any state. The second place goes to West Bengal. There have been 1,05 lakh cases this week. Compared to last week, there have been six times as many cases. Then comes Delhi’s turn. There were 95,609 cases this week.

Speed of corona is increasing in the country, the number of patients crosses one lakh in 24 hours

The Nitish government decided in its cabinet meeting on 4th that academic work from class I to VIII would be completely closed. Instructions were to open academic work from class IX to XII with 50% attendance. Despite this, due to the rapid spread of Coronavirus, all educational institutions, including schools, colleges, coaches, etc. have been closed with immediate effect.

Corona India Updates: A total of 90,928 Corona cases have been reported in India in the past 24 hours. 19206 people have been cured in the last 24 hours. It has been reported that 325 people have died. A total of 2,85,401 cases are reported as active.
