Wind speeds in the North-West and Central parts of India are expected to be 10-20 kilometers per hour according to the India Meteorological Department. There may be a temperature drop of 2-4 °C as a result. It will continue to be a cold wave in Madhya Pradesh. Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha will also experience a drop in temperature.

The meteorological department reports there is a possibility of cold wave conditions in some isolated areas of Vidarbha, North Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, and Gujarat during the next two days. Over the next 3-4 days, cold waves will continue to affect Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, North Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh.

There is a possibility of rain in these areas

According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain may fall in West Bengal, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura on 31 January and 1 February. Within the next four days, light rain is predicted in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Kerala.
