CBI raids 12 places in Delhi and Rajasthan in connection with Kiru Hydraulic scam

Kiru Hydraulic Scam: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is conducting searches at 12 sites in Delhi and Rajasthan, including the home of Satyapal Malik’s former press secretary, chartered accountant, and personal assistant in Delhi.

On Wednesday, allegedly in connection with a Kiru hydraulic scam, informed the central organisation. The CBI team searched 10 locations in Delhi and 2 locations in Rajasthan on Wednesday.

In order to conduct a search related to a case involving an alleged Kiru hydroelectric power project scam in Jammu and Kashmir, the CBI team reached Bali’s apartment in Delhi’s Defence Colony.

ED raids three premises of Byju Raveendran in Bengaluru on Saturday, seizes documents and digital data

The challenges facing Byju Raveendran, CEO of the well-known online edtech platform BYJU‘s, are increasing. Today, ED searched three of Raveendran’s locations.

Byju Raveendran’s three Bengaluru sites were raided by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Saturday. These searches were carried out at three of Byju Raveendran’s businesses, Think and Learn Private Limited. ED has seized a large number of documents and digital material in this raid.

These raids by the ED were related to the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) and were performed at the offices of Ravindran Byju and his business, Think and Learn Pvt Ltd. The ED has taken documents and digital data during the operations.

Income Tax Department raids BBC’s Delhi office on Tuesday morning, phones of employees seized

According to reports, the (BBC) British Broadcasters Corporation’s Delhi office was raided by the Income Tax Department. The BBC office has reportedly been locked off, and all employees’ phones have been seized.

On Tuesday morning, the Income Tax Department searched the BBC headquarters in Delhi. The Income Tax Department team is still in the office, according to information from the sources.

BBC’s Indian office on KG Marg Road is currently being raided, according to sources. The employees have also been told to leave for home. The incident has also been reported to the BBC’s London headquarters.
