Infiltrator killed in Kupwara

Security personnel have killed a terrorist and stopped this intrusion attempt. The Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police collaborated to thwart the infiltration attempt. Additionally, following the discovery of a gunshot-like noise in the Kamarwari neighborhood of the Srinagar district, the Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a search operation.

According to the Jammu and Kashmir Police, a joint team of the Army and Police stopped a party from entering the Indian side in the Saidpora region based on specific information obtained by Kupwara Police yesterday night. An intruder has been gunned down by the joint team. There is still a search going on.

20 people injured in bus accident in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara, police present on the spot

This morning, a tragic event had a place in Kupwara, North Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir. A bus accident that occurred today in the Vatayin neighborhood of Handwara, Kupwara district, injured about 20 people. For medical attention, the injured have been taken to the hospital.

According to what is being reported, the bus was traveling at a fast pace when it abruptly turned over and screams could be heard. First snowfall of the season was witnessed in Kupwara region of Kashmir

Kashmir News: On Monday, the first snow for the season fell in higher reaches of Kashmir, including the Zoji La Pass that connects the valley with Ladakh.

Z-Gali Machil in Kupwara, Kangdoori in Gulmarg and Sadnah Top in Karnah were among the upper reaches of Kashmir that experienced fresh snowfall.

The valley was drenched by rains. Fresh snow fell on the Amarnath Cave Temple in Anantnag as well.

Jammu and Kashmir as well as Ladakh experienced a cooling of temperatures. In Srinagar, the minimum temperature was 9.8 degrees Celsius, in Pahalgam, 6.7 degrees Celsius, and in Gulmarg, 1.5 degrees Celsius. According to the Met Office, Leh received 5.6 degrees, while Drass gained 3.1.

Meanwhile; the lowest temperatures of the night were recorded in Jammu at 20, Katra at 15, Batote at 9, Banihal at 8, and Bhaderwah at 9.2.
