Horrific road accident in Shahjahanpur, UP, collision between container and auto, 12 people died

The Uttar Pradesh area of Shahjahanpur has seen a horrifying road accident. The auto of devotees going to take a bath in Ganga from village Damgada of Madanapur police station area of Shahjahanpur was hit by a truck. There were 12 fatalities in a terrible car crash.

Around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, there was an accident on the Bareilly-Farrukhabad route close to Sugsugi hamlet in Alhaganj. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has sent his condolences to the families of the deceased, expressing his profound sadness over the disaster.

There were reportedly twelve people in the car. In the collision, everyone perished, including the driver of the car. Following the collision, the truck driver fled the scene. DM Umesh Pratap Singh, SP Ashok Kumar Meena, and Jalalabad MLA Hariprakash Verma arrived at the scene after learning of the event. The truck has been seized by police, who have also begun looking into the incident.

Radhikapur Express collides with a truck in West Bengal, no casualties reported

Radhikapur Express Accident: In the early hours of Monday at Farakka in the Murshidabad district of West Bengal, the engine of the 13145 Radhikapur Express derailed after hitting a truck carrying sand, according to railway sources.

Even though the collision caused an engine fire, railway officials stated that no casualties or injuries had been reported.

The event happened around 1.25 in the morning when a truck struck a level crossing gate in Murshidabad, between Dhulianganga and Ballalpur, and it came in front of the train. The engine caught fire after four wheels derailed. A representative for Eastern Railway said, “The engine was promptly removed from the train.

As soon as the fire brigade arrived, the fire was brought under control. Some trains were canceled or diverted as a result of the accident.

16 jawans who lost their lives in a road accident in Sikkim will be paid tribute on Saturday

Sikkim Army Truck accident: A tribute will be paid on Saturday (December 24) to 16 soldiers who died in a road accident in Sikkim. Wreaths will be laid at the Bagdogra airport in West Bengal for the jawans’ mortal remains, according to a statement from the Indian Army. The dead bodies’ remains will thereafter be sent to their hometowns.

Naib Subedar Chandan Kumar Mishra and Naib Subedar Omkar Singh of the 285 Medical Regiment, L/Havildar Gopinath Makur, Sepoy Sukha Ram, Havildar Charan Singh, and Naik Ravinder Singh Thapa of the 26 Mechanized Infantry are among those who perished in the mishap, according to the army.

Four troops from the 25 Grenadiers, L/Naik Bhupendra Singh, Naik Shyam Singh Yadav, Naik Lokesh Kumar, and Grenadier Vikas Kumar, died in the accident together with Naik Vaishakh S and Naik Pramod Singh of the 221 Field Regiment.

According to the army, other troops who perished in the disaster included Subedar Guman Singh and L/Havildar Arvind Singh from the 8 Rajasthan Rifles, L/Naik Sombir Singh from the 113 Engineer Regiment, and L/Naik Manoj Kumar from the 1871 Field Regiment.

President Draupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Congressman Rahul Gandhi sent their condolences to the mourning families of the dead heroes.
