The Trinamool Congress has claimed that Gujarat Officers arrested party spokesperson Saket Gokhale because he tweeted about the collapse of the Morbi bridge, accusing the BJP of engaging in “political vendetta.”
Nevertheless, the party hasn’t made it clear which tweet it was. Saket Gokhale has reportedly been charged with attempting to smear Prime Minister Narendra Modi in relation to the Morbi bridge catastrophe.
Party leader Derek O’Brien said
Derek O’Brien, the party’s head, reported that Saket flew from New Delhi to Jaipur at 9 p.m. on Monday. The Gujarat police waiting here immediately arrested him after his arrival. He contacted his mother on Tuesday at two in the morning to let her know about the arrest and to let her know that she was being brought to Ahmedabad.
The cops had let him make a two-minute phone call while he was being held. All the items, including the phone, were seized after that. According to Brian, the Morbi bridge accident has been the subject of a bogus case filed with the Ahmedabad cyber cell. He claimed that none of these could muzzle the opposition or the All India Trinamool Congress. He charged BJP with vengeance politics.
