Reliance Jio played a big game with Hotstar. According to Reliance Jio, Warner Bros and HBO have signed a deal, which will allow Jio users to watch Warner and HBO shows on Jio Cinema.
HBO and Warner’s shows were earlier available on Hotstar. In Jio Cinema, users will be able to watch such as Game of Thrones and the Harry Potter series.
Let us inform you that, as of March 31, Hotstar’s HBO content was no longer available. Following that, it was discussed if HBO could launch its new OTT site in India, but everything has been cleared today. Following the agreement with Jio, Jio Cinema now offers HBO as well as content from renowned creators Warner Brothers.
This Jio partnership is anticipated to immediately compete with Disney Hotstar and Amazon Prime in the market.
