According to reports, the messaging service WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta, is developing a new feature for Android beta that will let users control how long messages remain pinned within chats and groups.
According to WABetaInfo, this functionality will provide users the freedom to choose a certain time frame after which the pinned message would be automatically unpinned.
The platform is anticipated to offer three various timeframes, including 24 hours, 7 days, and 30 days. Users may also unpin the currently pinned message at any moment, even before the chosen time period has passed.
Users can utilise the ability to pin essential messages to the top of the conversation, which is a handy feature.
