IND vs WI: After India beat the West Indies in the second T20, there was news that former India captain Virat Kohli would not play in the T20 series against Sri Lanka. He has been given a 10-day leave from Biobubble. The third T20 match against West Indies will no longer feature Kohli. According to a report from PTI on Friday, Kohli won’t be available for the three-game T20I series against Sri Lanka starting on February 24. The following two T20Is in Dharamsala will take place on February 27 and 28.

A senior BCCI official told PTI on condition of anonymity that Kohli left for home on Saturday morning because India had already won the T20 series. BCCI will be providing periodic breaks to regular all-format players from the biobubble to ensure that their workload is not overburdened and the mental health of the players is being safeguarded.
Additionally, Rishabh Pant has also been given a break from the biobubble. Pant will also not play in the third T20 against West Indies and the T20 series with Sri Lanka.
In reality, the Test series against Sri Lanka is very important for Kohli. Virat’s form is declining steadily, especially in Test cricket. The last century Kohli scored was two years ago.
