The Calcutta High Court has taken a major decision regarding violence and arson in Birbhum. As a result of a court order, the CBI is now investigating this matter. Information indicates that violence erupted after a TMC leader was killed in Birbhum, West Bengal. Eight people, two of them children, and three women have been killed in the violence. Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha State President Indranil Khan has, however, welcomed the decision of the CBI inquiry by the Calcutta High Court.
