Auto Taxi Ola Uber Strike in Delhi-NCR

Taxi, auto, and cab drivers have announced a strike in Delhi on Monday, i.e. today. During such a situation, the wheels of taxis, autos, minibusses, Ola, and Uber cabs are seen stopping in the capital. People are facing a lot of problems as a result.

Across the country, the price of petrol, diesel, and CNG is continuously increasing; therefore, cab drivers are asking for a hike in the taxi fares.

The auto taxi union’s strike in Delhi has seen drivers holding posters with demands. They also raised slogans against the government. In addition, the drivers said, we offer our apologies to the passengers who are having difficulties, but if we do not do so, our lives will be difficult.

Meanwhile, people from all around the country are arriving at the New Delhi railway station, but they are not getting auto cabs outside the station. They have to travel to different parts of Delhi. Many organizations came together

Fuel prices are increasing continuously not only in Delhi but all over the country. In such a situation, the cab drivers’ association of Ola and Uber are set to strike on Monday to demand a higher fare. On the other hand, the Delhi Auto Rickshaw Association has also called for subsidies for CNG. The Sangh has threatened to go on strike if the government does not listen to their demands.

Cab drivers on strike for two days from today

Delhi’s Auto, Taxi, and Cab Drivers Association have called for a two-day strike from Monday. Actually, many car and cab drivers are asking for cab prices to be increased and for fuel prices to be reduced. However, despite assurances from the Delhi government, drivers have set up a strike.

The Delhi government has asked to set up a committee to discuss the demands of the drivers. The association estimates that most cab and auto drivers will participate in the two-day strike.

90,000 autos and 80,000 taxis registered in Delhi

In addition, all the organizations of the auto, taxi, and minibus drivers in Delhi have also called for a strike. However, Kamaljeet Gill, Chief of Sarvodaya Driver Association, said that the government was not doing anything in regard to reducing the prices of petrol and diesel and enhancing fares. In such a situation, we have called for an indefinite strike for Monday.

The Delhi Auto Rickshaw Association general secretary Rajendra Soni said, “CNG prices have caused problems to the drivers.” We know that the Delhi government has discussed forming a committee. To solve our problems, we must find a solution. We would like our government to subsidize CNG. A total of 90,000 autos and 80,000 taxis are registered in Delhi. Due to most of these strikes, people may face trouble in such a situation.
