Karnataka Central Crime Branch arrested five suspected terrorists, planning blast in Bengaluru

Five alleged terrorists were taken into custody by the Central Crime Branch (CCB) in Bengaluru, Karnataka. It has been identified that they are Syed Suhail, Umar, Janid, Mudasir, and Zahid. The team may have intended to carry out the explosion in Bengaluru. The Central Crime Branch (CCB) disclosed this information on Wednesday.

In 2017, all five were charged with murder, and they came into contact with terrorists in Parappana Agrahara Central Jail.

Explosive material has also been taken by the CCB. The five accused terrorists who were detained also had four walkie-talkies, seven locally produced pistols, 42 live bullets, two daggers, two satellite phones, and four grenades.

BSP supremo Mayawati gave a big statement about the alliance, will not join any alliance

The final day for this was Friday, July 14. People have until this day to submit their comments and objections to the commission.

The commission has since prolonged it for an additional two weeks. Now through July 28, the commission will accept proposals.

IMD issues yellow alert for Thane, and other districts of Maharashtra including Mumbai

Chandrayaan-3 successfully reached Earth’s orbit, PM Modi said this by tweeting

The Chandrayaan-3 mission was successfully launched by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on Friday, July 14. At 2:35 PM, Chandrayaan-3 began to fly toward the Moon. From the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, it was launched.

“It is indeed a proud moment for India and a moment of fortune for all of us at Sriharikota, who were part of history in the making,” remarked Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State for Science and Technology, in reference to the launch of Chandrayaan 3. Thank you Team ISRO for making us proud, and thank you PM Narendra Modi for enabling India’s space industry by opening the doors of Sriharikota.

With a cost of 615 crores, this mission will land near the south pole of the Moon after a journey of about 50 days. Chandrayaan-3 was launched using the LVM-3 launcher.

Yamuna’s water level recorded danger mark of 208.65 meters on Thursday, all schools will remain closed till July 16

There is a risk of ongoing flooding in Delhi as a result of the Yamuna River’s rising water level. On Thursday, the Yamuna’s water level was at the danger mark, which was 208.65 meters. The river’s water level peaked in 1978 at 207.49 meters.

Due to the rise in Yamuna River’s water level, all Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) schools would be closed through July 16.

According to officials, the main cause of the flood-like conditions in some areas of the city is the release of water from the Hathini Kund dam combined with severe rainfall in Delhi and the neighboring districts.

Bombay High Court refuses bail to NCP leader Nawab Malik in money laundering case on medical grounds

In a case involving money laundering, the Bombay High Court denied Nawab Malik, the leader of the National Congress Party and a former minister for Maharashtra, bail due to his medical grounds.

The Enforcement Directorate detained Malik in February 2022 in connection with a case involving the wanted gangster Dawood Ibrahim and his associates. The NCP leader is receiving treatment at a private facility while being held in judicial custody.

Malik had made a medical request for bail. Anil Singh, representing the ED, opposed Malik’s bail, arguing that he is undergoing treatment at a hospital of his choice.
